I love behind the scenes photos because they show the reality not just the pretty picture, which is only the end result. But there's so much more to it than that and that's why I love sharing my behind the scenes shots. Actually, even these are only a snippet of what goes on because typically a photoshoot only takes a few hours whereas I can spend days first of all thinking up ideas and planning and then afterwards sorting, editing and posting the final images. But those would be rather boring photos of me sitting at my desk so I won't share that with you!
This particular day was spent with my wonderful friend Summah, my muse, I styled her in both of our clothes and did her makeup. You can see the final images in Part One, Part Two and Part Three on my Photography blog. Part One was not not on the same day at Wharariki but happened at the same time that Summah came to stay with me. Hope you enjoy!
